Julia Ehlert Nair is a Singapore-based researcher, writer, and multimedia creative. Her current research explores generative AI as an artistic medium, creative agency, and cosmotechnics in Singapore and Southeast Asian new media arts. Before starting her PhD at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication & Information at NTU Singapore, Julia was a science communicator at Caltech, a social justice advocate at SEIU labor union, a queer archivist at One Institute, and a media arts + practice student at USC School of Cinematic Arts.
